Can someone please give me an answer? I have recently acquired a Trojan Horse myself. It fried the hell out of my Internet Explorer so I had to get Firefox. Now here’s my question, DO Trojan Horses affect video games? Because my damn Sims game is acting up :/
use mozilla firefox when you get infected use the program lightscribe click on the lightscribe control panel icon itll say if you want it to take you to the proxy site using mozzila firefox click go and it will take you to the last page you were on on the internet then you can delete it once and for all using the internet at your adversary

So… yes. Just buy a reliable scanner and remover (McAfee, Norton, Kapersky, or Sophos), make sure your computer is clean by scanning at least 2-3 times thoroughly, then if it’s necessary, reinstall the game.
Note: If you are tight on cash and you need a security program, download Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender from the Microsoft website. But beware, there are many imitations of the two apps.
@Itachifan186 That is a common trick for many users of Windows. There is no website based virus scanner, it was just trying to get you to give them your credit card number and code so they could use it to give you a trojan.
Program your own Anti Virus, That is what i did and I have not had any problems since, Check out the videos I posted of a home made DIY PC security suite
@silent1497 Hey can i ask u somethings some one send me link on steam when i was playing mw2 and after i clicked my pc started to get really slow so i went to download kaspersky trial to scan & remove it found a trojans called (GameThift) and the kaspersky dosn’t help so now my pc r very slow i cant even watch youtube without have to wait 30 minuts and i readed ur coment u seem to know so can u help me please

You’re using Kapersky? Here’s a better one that’s free, provided by Microsoft, and won’t bring your computer to a standstill: Go to the Microsoft website and search “Security Essentials”. Click on the first one, I’m pretty sure it’s the right one.
Try removing Kapersky. It’s hell just trying to run a game on a computer at the same time as it.
